In advance of our festival March 10 - 12, the Edmonton Flamenco Festival is bringing our flamenco flashmob back to life! We plan to meet up and dance together in various public places leading up to the festival. Hope to see you there!
Our experienced flashmob dancers from the fall are offering two 1.5 hour classes for anyone wanting to learn the choreography.
Class dates: Feb. 3 and Feb. 5
All levels welcome. Some basic previous flamenco dance experience is required. Have you taken a session of flamenco before? If you've got some basic arms and have done a bit of choreography por tangos, you'll be able to follow along. More advanced? There's a lot of opportunity to put your own flair into the choreography.
Have some cante experience and want to practise your flamenco singing? We’ll be getting together to practise the cante with palmas in the next few weeks.
If you’re interested in joining us please let us know at the link below by January 31st.
