Anyone for Spain Meets Canada Flamenco Festival?

I'm wondering if anyone is up for car-pooling to The Spain Meets Canada Flamenco Festival in Saskatoon on Sept. 21st. Also sharing accomodation....

If I go, I will likely be renting a car and I would like to go to the concert on the Friday and coming home late on the Sunday evening or very early on the Monday morning. I'm also open to going after work on the Friday and missing the concert just to be in time for the workshop.

If interested please email flamenca-at-mail.com and let me know what works for you.

Tangos, Tientos, Bulerias - Structure

For an English-language introduction to Tangos, Tientos, & Bulerias structure (useful as well for por fiesta), visit Katerina Tomás' Flamenco Básico notes. The site also includes instructional materials for purchase.

Sevillanas - Structure

Buleria Chuck's site provides a guitar-based discussion of the Sevillanas song form. Also includes letras for thirteen Sevillanas songs.

David Palomar

For those of you that took the workshop with Paco Pena in 2006, there's a great interview with singer David Palomar here.
