Flamenco @ Feats Festival of Dance 2009

Dancer Esperanza Linares, guitarist Tosh Hayashi, singer Marni Benavides, and palmista Elysia perform a new piece in "Vistas" at the Alberta Dance Association's feats festival of dance.

"Vistas" takes place July 2 @ 8 pm at the Westbury Theatre, TransAlta Arts Barns and will also include new works from Alberta choreographers in tap, lyrical, and contemporary dance. Tickets $15, available at TIX on the Square (780) 420-1757. The group will also perform on July 2 in "urban dance encounters", a free performance series at City Centre Mall.

Come out and enjoy and evening of Spanish dance and music by local artist Flavia Robles and her group "Alhambra Ensemble Espanol." We will showcase flamenco and neo-classical dance styles from Spain.
