"Telematic" Flamenco Guide with Audio
Interested in learning more about Flamenco in general? The Telematic Flamenco Guide produced by Tourismo Andaluz in collaboration with the Biennial Flamenco Exhibition is a good starting point for information about Flamenco history and forms (palos). The site includes audio samples and descriptions of many common and less-common Flamenco forms. In addition to this site, sites such as Flamenco.ca offer a range of listings related to flamenco.

Dance Workshop - Esperanza Duarte Linares. May/June 2007
Esperanza began studying Flamenco at the age of 15 in Seville, Spain, and has studied with such artists as Manolo Marin, Juana Amaya, and Concha Vargas. She founded her own school of Flamenco in Dublin, Ireland where she taught and performed regularly before coming to Canada.
The Workshop: This workshop is a General level for Beginners of Flamenco who already have some experience, and Intermediate/Advanced students looking to improve all aspects of technique and performance.
When: 1:00-3:00. Sundays May 6, 13, and 27th (**Note change: no workshop on the May long weekend**), June 3.
Where: Marr-Mac Dance Studio, 8627 109 street. (Under The Movie Studio)
Cost: $130 for the session, or $35 drop-in. Drop-ins welcome.
