Discovering Flamenco Singing and Song with Silvia Temis - January 2016

Cantaora Silvia Temis now based in Edmonton AB is offering two Flamenco Singing Classes, Friday January 29th from 7:00 to 8:30pm and Saturday January 30th from 4:00 to 5:30pm, in the heart of Old Strathcona, Whyte Ave. The Capoeira Academy (Edmonton) #103 10324 82 Ave, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 1Z8

As you might all be aware understanding Flamenco singing and song is a crucial aspect to understand the art form in deep. This class is suitable for beginners with some knowledge in Flamenco in general or musicians/ singers looking to expand their range of talent. Flamenco dancers looking to understand the music structure.

DESCRIPTION:
Palos or styles are TBD until we determine the level of the whole group.  We will introduce flamenco clapping (flamenco palmas) as well as history of the lyrics (letras).
Classes are 1.5 hrs each.

PRICES:
Two classes early bird until January the 20th: $70.00 CAD
Two classes after January the 20th are $75.00 CAD
Drop in: $40.00 CAD
